I tested my cat when my MR2 was idling for 15 mins to warm up. I used a IR temp gun and I saw that before the cat it was at 300ish degrees and after it was 140ish. Is that good or bad? Im still having trouble where the car warms up and it gets that RPM ceiling feels like a fuel cut. When its cold its perfectly fine. Seafoam’d the vacuum line that goes into the TVIS and it ran better until the temp needle was in the middle. (Which is longer than last time) Before it would do this at 120 degrees F.
